Celebrating SEN’s ICW 2025 Award Win

The Social Employment Network (SEN), the SEF’s collaborative engine and community of practice, convened by the Economic Development Partnership (EDP), has won the Institute for Collaborative Working (ICW) 2025 Award in the category Collaborations Led by NGOs, Charities, or Civil Society Organisations.

This recognition affirms the SEN’s essential role in the SEF model: strengthening relationships, fostering shared learning, and creating the collaborative infrastructure that enables partners across South Africa to deliver meaningful, community-rooted social employment at scale. The SEN demonstrates that collaboration is not just part of SEF’s design, but one of its greatest strengths.

Thank you to all the Strategic Implementing Partners and the Industrial Development Corporation for their continued commitment and shared purpose. This is a programme that demonstrates the power of collective impact!
